Hi @TEcandidates I don't know the purpose about the code "2>$bowtie2Summary", it is must use the bowtie v2.3 ?

Hi @zyworship!

Bowtie v2.3 is required. The code you are mentioning is for debugging purposes, and stores the summary statistics from the mapping with Bowtie.
