Hey @Suntej, Could you provide more infos about it? Like print screens, environment (android version) and maybe options selected on app.
It's the same for me for some time now. Sometimes it works, but every 2-3 time when I have a look at the status bar, there's a timeout error. Sometimes it takes 3 tries hitting "refresh" to get a new price. Sometimes it works the first time. I just have one Ticker: Bitstamp USD/BTC and a refresh interval of 10 Minutes. This is the case since running Android 6. I'm now on Android 7.1 and it's the same.
Hi , Here is some more information about it as requested by you , It seems to me that the app does not run in the background for some reason and goes time-out , when I open the app again , it refreshes automatically and timeout error goes away I have attached the screenshot of the error , the settings. Android version is 6.0.1 MMB29M
Regards, Suntej

Dear @Suntej
Thank you for the provided informations. Please try to investigate if are any app preventing the BitcoinChecker for running in background.
The BitcoinChecker is a collection of API's consumers, and sometimes, the server that provides the API is out of service, that could ends in timeout too.
Please check this tutorial for further more information and try do it in reverse mode: https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-stop-apps-running-in-the-background-on-android
Best regards, Pablo Castro
I set the app to "do not optimize" in the battery saving options. We'll see if the timeout error is gone now.
After changing the battery saving option, my timeout error problems are gone. Thanks for the tip, that was something I didn't consider.
Hey guys, please tell me, set app to running background option solved the problem?
For me , it was locking my application which solved the problem , I have attached the screenshot for quick reference. Thanks for assistance.

That's great man. I'll close this issue if The problem persist open it again. Best regards.
I've been having this issue as well since downloading 3-4 months ago, but its gotten much worse in the last 2 (No changes to my phone).
Running 7.0, all factory setup. I tried playing with everything recommended above apart from locking the app and no dice.
Every now and then I see a timeout error on the app and it stops working , not able to figure out the reason for this.
