I have a similar issue, however, it appears most often when my phone has been idle for a long period of time, such as overnight. If it isn't working for you at all, even when you're using your phone, Samsung may be putting it in power save mode. Have you added Bitcoin Checker to "Unmonitored apps" in the App power monitor?
If not, you can add it by going to the Samsung pull-down -> Settings (gear icon) -> Device Maintenance -> Battery -> Unmonitored Apps (scroll to the very bottom) -> Add apps.

I have rung Samsung and my data provider I have heaps of data and Samsung says its not the phone
Yet; bitcoin checker on samsung s9+ is giving inaccurate price updates or not giving updates and not alerting when price changes thru % change set at
Are there any issues with it?
Is there something I have to do on my phone other than download it install it and use it?
How do i get it to work properly please?
