@StefanWallin - thank you so much for this PR! I also love your "steps to validate locally" lol. I love that this clarifies the acronym and thank you for clarifying the linked lines of code.

I'm going to merge this now. Our docs site is kind of tightly coupled to the current version of MST, so I won't publish the docs yet (running our docs publish process will end up pushing docs about yet-to-be-released code changes), but in our next release this will go live. Sorry for the delay.
