06160009 Wrapped Exception - error on site dashlet

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. installed as described
2. added dashlet to user dashboard all works as expected (except thumbnail 
rendering some are smaller some are bigger??)
3. added dashlet to site dashboard receiving error message:
06160009 Wrapped Exception (with status template): 06160068 Failed to execute 
script 
'classpath*:alfresco/templates/webscripts/de/fme/dashlets/gallery.get.js': 
06160067 A transaction has not be started for method 'isSiteAdmin' on 
org.alfresco.service.cmr.site.SiteService

'Edit this dashlet' throws error message:
Could not load dialog template from 
'/share/service/modules/dashlet/gallery/config?site=company-photos'.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
output should be as seen in the user dashboard the image galery instead the 
error mentioned above is displayed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- Alfresco Community 5.0
- Windows Server 2012
- Firefox 30 and IE 11
- fme-gallery-plus-dashlet-0.5.4.jar 

Please provide any additional information below.
might it be that the .jar version of the addon isn't compatible with Alfresco 5?

We restarted several times the server but no luck.
Tried with different users no luck.

Hi, I suspect that the Alfresco Version 5 is the issue. It has not been tested 
yet with Alfresco 5. 

If you fix the issue yourself I'd be happy to reintegrate the changes.

It's not clear when/if I will update the dashlet in the future. If you need an 
updated version immediately, you can buy professional services support through
