Feature Request: That Movist be made able to open and play more than one movie at a time #47

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening 2 different movie files will result in the 1st file being closed
when the 2nd file is
opened.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

When I open more than 1 movie file I would like them ALL to remain open in
their respective
windows. As it is now, when I open more than 1 movie file the 1st file is
closed when the 2nd
file is opened. In QuickTime I am able to open more than 1 movie file at a
time, and I can even
play more than 1 movie at a time. I have not found a preference that enables
this capability, but
rather it seems built-in.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I use Movist 0.6.1 on a Late 2008 Unibody Intel Core2Duo 2.4 GHz MacBook and a
Late 2006
Intel Core2Duo 2.16 GHz iMac, both running Mac OS 10.5.7.

Please provide any additional information below.

NicePlayer for Mac does this. I wanted this feature too, but I think there are
more
important Movist features / bugs that developers can spend their time on. I
only need
this oh so rarely, so I just use NicePlayer when I need to open multiple movies
simultaneously, not sure if that is the situation with you...
