Reported by AHaumer on 7 May 2008 20:20 UTC We'd like to donate some new blocks to the MSL:

redesign of low pass filter with critical damping and Butterworth filter, as well as newly designed Bessel and Chebyshev filter
newly designed analysis blocks to calculate mean, rectified mean and root mean square of a signal with respect to the given (constant) basic signal frquency, as well as a Fourier analysis for given orders. The blocks are based on MSL 2.2.2 but are MSL 3.0 - ready, i.e. they can be easily converted.

Comment by AHaumer on 25 Mar 2010 13:54 UTC Since it seems to take for ages until LinearSystems2 will be included in the MSL (Chebyshev even gives an error during testing!), and we really need improved and additional versions of the low pass filters, we suggest to include the enclosed filter blocks in Modelica.Blocks for MSL 3.2 (CriticalDamping and LowpassButterworth are backwards compatible).
