WIP: Attempts to add Python 3 compatibility to the existing titus codebase. Currently about 80% complete. I'm opening a PR for easy comparison with the existing codebase, but if no one's actively maintaining this repo (there doesn't seem to be any recent activity), it seems reasonable to abandon this effort and instead go with @animator's more mature port here. See #35 for discussion.
