LC7.8 Clarification #425

In LC7.8, the question is "what is the population parameter?" and the solution says it is the total number of balls, however the definition provided for population parameter is that it is the "numerical summary quantity about the population that is unknown, but you wish you knew." I'm a little confused - would the population parameter instead be the "population proportion of red balls"?
