Consider point release for PRs and plugin activity

Given WordPress' plugin directory lacks project maintainer statuses a la Drupal, interpreting plugin support and status is a murky topic.

• WordFence has started noting plugins as abandoned based on date of last update release (see https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-simple-file-downloader-abandoned/ for an example from another plugin).
• wp.org plugin compatibility is determined at the date of the last release, and not by the WP API integrations with the latest spec.

This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

A point release compiling PRs from the last two years would go a long way to confirming the project status and compatibility for end-users and security-minded WP users.

As this plugin is low-complexity and relatively lacking egregious bloat and up-sell, I would much rather steer my colleagues and my services to blog-copier versus premium plugins ( https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/new-from-wpmu-dev-cloner-the-site-cloning-plugin-for-wordpress-multisite/ ) or premium plugins lacking proper MU support ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ ).
