Connection failed. No response from server.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed gtalksms on android phone, created new jabber account for phone, 
set up two-way communication between this new account and my gtalk account
2. Set up gtalksms as described in setup guide
3. Start/stop application (several times, on wifi as well as 3g, tried 
restarting the application (after having killed the background process))

What is the expected output?
Icon turns from red into yellow into green

What do you see instead?
Icon stays yellow
GTalkSMS: Connection failed. Connection failed. No response from server.

Additional informations:
GTalkSMS version = 2.1
Android OS version = 2.2
Phone model = LG Optimus One (P500)

Paste GTalkSMS logs if they are relevant

Thanks for the detailed report. It looks like a configuration problem. Can you 
cross check with another account? Also try disabling manual server settings in 
connection settings.

Thanks for the quick reply (and on a Sunday too!). I tried disabling manual 
server configuarion, and that did the trick. I did have the configuration as 
described on the setup page, I doublechecked, strange...But I'm glad it works 
now! Will donate!
