Roughly Enough Items configuration menu conflicting with Optifine/Optifabric? #235

When opening Roughly Enough Items' configuration menu with Optifabric 1.16.1 / Optifine 1.16.1 PRE2 installed, the game closes. I already reported this to REI since it seems to be the only mod crashing, author suggested posting here instead.

Mods Installed: Fabric API 0.14.1 Build 372 1.16 Roughly Enough Items 4.7.0 (updated from 4.6.6, still crashes) Optifabric 1.1.0 Beta OptiFine 1.16.1 Preview 2

Crashes with Mod Menu installed as well.

~~Dupe of #223. Fixed in 1.1.0-beta2.~~ seems only the launch crash was fixed.
