Hi,
The jumper you are mentioned is not "WD"but "WP" and means Write Protection
It is used ONLY if you like to write to the HAT EEPROM, and then you need just to enter it to their place
Detailed description is in the updated manual I just uploaded
We ware planning to release new manual and firmware, but born of the new Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ change our planning, as was obligated to setup new production for the new PIco HV3.0B+, which is in fact 99.9% similar to the HV3.0B, and just 5 extra features added. Firmware is 100% compatible backwards, as on all boards, so please do not try former versions of firmware to run on the new PIco
100% compatibility with new the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+
High current latching relay on all contacts (2A)
Able to support the Raspberry Pi PoE HAT (by passing through the Raspberry Pi PoE pins, so PoE HAT can be placed on top)
PEN functionality, so with the ON/OFF user can switch completely OFF the Raspberry Pi even is it is still powered by the micro USB PSU
For the model Advanced (former called Plus, but just to name change to B+ can not be called Plus anymore) the buck converter is now 4A@5V
Warmest Regards
Ioannis

Hi I've just finished soldering all components to the PIco Plus HV3.0B board and was left with -1 jumper pins
- on/off switch
for which I could not find anything in the documentation, except that the on/off switch seems to be soldered on one of the corners according to the picture. On the PCB the only socket for the pins I could find noted with WD (Watchdog?)
Did I solder the components correctly and what is its purpose?
thanks

Hi
Thanks a lot for the quick feedback. I did quickly check the documentation update and did see that the HW differences between HV3.0 is now described. With respect to the two topics. It is still not so clear who to use them:
thanks
