Notifaction is always unread on windows smaller than 1024 pixels #1517

Describe the bug

On browser windows smaller than 1024 px the notification icon will always have a unread dot regardless of any present notifications.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Resize windows to size lower than 1024 px
  2. Notification dot appears

Expected behavior

No dot should appear

Additional context

Happens on both firefox and chrome
