Please confirm the following.

What parts of Modrinth is your feature request related too?

App

Is your suggested feature related to a problem? Please describe.

Sometimes the author of the mod does not say that a newer version of Minecraft supports their old mod, however It works fine. It would be great if in your launcher was the ability to force any version of the mod on any version of Minecraft with a warning. At the moment you have to download the mod from modrinth website and put it in a mod folder.

Describe the solution you'd like

Need a checkbox that would allow you to forcibly install the mod on an “incompatible” version, or a warning “ this mod may not work properly on your version of Minecraft do it at your own risk”.

Describe alternatives you've considered
