[x] I have tried resolving the issue using the support portal
[x] I have ensured my Modrinth App installation is up to date
What version of the Modrinth App are you using?
v0.8.9
What operating systems are you seeing the problem on?
Windows
Describe the bug
I didn’t know if to put this in the Modrinth App Bug Issue or the Feature request Issue page but basically my problem is i changed my admin password and forgot it so im kinda stuck and have to download the portable version of things well basically for Modrinth i just set it to “Desktop” in the installation instead of Program Files (because i need the admin password to put stuff in program files), but every-time it requires an update the instillation wizard gives me an error because it doesn’t detect it in program files so i always have to re-install and loose all my installations. Basically i just want to suggest adding a feature/bug fix in settings where it lets you choose the file location for updates and/or application location below the App directory.
Steps to reproduce
Install the latest Modrinth App wizard for windows
In the wizard changed the dile location to any other place
Wait for a future Modrinth App Update
Launch modrinth app then wait for it to try to update and then you get the provided error
Expected behavior
I expected the update to auto detect where the installation since i did change it in the wizard when installing modrinth.
