Open source? #35

I’m up for open sourcing this code base. BSD licence seems like the way to go as it protects us as creators from malicious knockoffs but allows re-use. It’s what we use at Vox Media for our open source products.

I don't have any experience with open sourcing code, and you should really make this call because you've written all the code, but here's what I think: If someone could take what we've made and use it to make a better tool, builds it into a bigger tool, or transforms it into a tool tailored for specific purposes, we should encourage that.
