Make deleting the package file from core/packages optional #1997

There are situations where you might want to uninstall a package but not delete the zip file, especially during package development. You might also want to uninstall it but leave it in workspaces for a later re-install (say, if uninstalling it didn't solve your problem). At present, the Remove Package menu choice is ambiguous and it's hard to know exactly what it would do. Users could even imagine that it would remove the line in workspaces and leave the package installed (like the download list in FF does). Ideally, IMO, the menu choice in workspaces would be called remove/uninstall and would lead to a dialog with three checkboxes: Uninstall package from site Remove package from workspace Delete package zip file from core/packages I think the only sanity check necessary would be that you can't do number 3 without doing number 2.

Wouldn’t it be useful to be able to completely delete an add-on? Even the list entry? Sometimes you would want to completely get rid of stuff!
