More Consistent Interface Features #4598

Intuitively, users expect consistent behaviors across whole app. Architecturally, code-reuse is efficient. Therefor, give similar parts of interface the same features/behaviors:

Drag/Drop on all trees
Field-Collapse on all object editors (to bring code-editor to top. Currently just on documents)
"Add File" and "Add File Here" in Modx File Manager
Quick Update for all objects
etc

Opportunities for code-reuse!

custom fields on documents, chunks, snippets, and other objects, not just templates (so the custom field would be added to field-list above chunk content)

This is a great suggestion. However it would be tremendously helpful to have a spreadsheet or other document that goes over each specific element on the various manager pages and gives the current and expected behaviors. Do you think this would be doable?

i don't know the interface well enough yet to complete this.
