Core :toPlaceholder output filter still returns the output of the tag #8468

When I do [[_myTV:toPlaceholder=something]] I expect that [[+something]] would be the only tag what outputs the contents of [[_myTag]].

But I saw that :toPlaceholder doesn't return an empty string to avoid showing the output. In my option this should be the way it should work.
