Does this address some part or all of https://github.com/ibus/ibus/issues/2233 ?
It's unrelated, but looking at the unicode-math table I see that I've added some of the symbols in that list. It also seems like they have a lot with different names though (e.g. ⊳ is \rhd
here and \vartriangleright
there)
Hi @mike-fabian can we merge this pull request. Even if there are similarities (e.g. ⊳ is \rhd here and \vartriangleright there), it won't hurt https://github.com/ibus/ibus/issues/2233 if you merge this. We can always have more than one ways to reach to the same character set if they don't conflict with some standard string used in some domain (like latex).

Yes, I agree, it is OK if the same character can be reached with different input strings.
I’ll merge it and make an update for Fedora soon.
I'll probably also add this https://github.com/kaio/ibus-table/issues/72 and make a new release. The Latin->Mongolian part of this table is finished, the Cyrillic -> Mongolian part seems stuck but I think it is OK to include it with only the Latin -> Mongolian part.
Added the following:
\|
for ‖ (not the same as\parallel
, which is ∥)\neg
for ¬, the more common name\prime
for ′ (not the same as\acute
, which is ´)
