Unable to send large MMS attachments #1935

DESCRIPTION

Unable to send MMS attachments at 1000KB, 2000KB, or uncompressed. 600KB or lower works. Android 12, app version 3.10.1. Phone model Sony XQ-BC62. My example attachment is a 2.1MB JPG, but various other formats and sizes fail.

STEPS

  1. Set auto-compress to 1000KB or greater
  2. Attempt to send photo

EXPECTED

Expect message to send

OBSERVATIONS

"Failed to send. Tap to try again."

I now realize this is due to a limit imposed by the carrier.
