Problem about notification sounds #1947

DESCRIPTION

When setting a default sound for notification, it acts for everyone else. And setting custom sound for one person modifies the default sound also. So it seems that setting default or custom sound acts on the same property.

STEPS

  1. Define sound A for default notification
  2. Define sound B for a specific person
  3. Go back to parameters about default notification
  4. We can see that sound B is set on 'default'. That's wrong, it should have been kept to A.

EXPECTED

Default and custom notification sound should be different.

OBSERVATIONS

Anyway, it's a great app, simple and efficient. Thanks !

Are you referring to when you do this in the phone's Settings app, or somewhere within the QKSMS app? And what QKSMS version are you using?

I used the settings from the QKSMS app, but that's the same when I use "informations" on the app button. That seems to lead on the same menu. My QKSMS version is 3.9.3. And I have a Xiaomi phone, maybe that's relevant too.

I tried other SMS apps before, and I didn't saw that confusion about notifications. I had other troubles, so that's why I tried QKSMS ;) And I am very satisfied, except for this annoying bug.
