No audio from phone until menu>speaker pressed on every call

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.make or receive Sipdroid call
2.no audio from phone at other end(phone mike is muted)
3.hit menu>speaker,  then phone has working mic

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should have mic on.  Mute Icon is on?  see pic attached

What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?
V1.5.7,  issue present for 3 months I have been user
Phone is Motorola i1 ,  Android 1.5

Could not find same issue, some similar, so I documented in attached pdf.
Can somebody tell me if mute control is supposed to look like that always and 
if speaker button is also same state even if pressed?
