Record and video not saving #163

On Samsung Galaxy S record does not return file to ODK collect (Android 2.2). 
On HTC Wildfire (Android 2.1) video is not returned.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. ODK collect on Android
2. use default with video or record
3. record and video work, but file is not returned to ODK collect.

Samsung Galaxy S
Android 2.2 and 2.1 (tested before upgrade) 
Record application is called "Voice record" 

HTC wildfire
Android 2.1
video application "camcorder"

Workaround with Samsung is to use video instead or voice record

looked into this, and i don't think there is much we can do on our side. 
samsung and htc have apparently not implemented the intent system properly...

for the audio, i'd recommend downloading sound recorder (or sound recorder 
wrapper) from the android market place. that is the open source app that ships 
with android and properly implements the recording of audio. see if that works.

i suppose an alternative is for us to implement an attach from media library 
option...

Hi

Either sound recorder or sound recorder wrapper seems to work. But it would be 
excellent to have a an attach from media library option, as one of the other 
items we collect are drawings/sketch or we annotate photos and at present we 
can not attach to the ODK. Thanks
