Looking at the source code, this functionality was disabled in 2008 [1]. Since this hasn't been touched since then, I'm wondering: why is addcfg even in the command list? Removing it from the available commands would avoid misleading users. Or are there any plans to re-implement it?
When trying to run the addcfg command in hpi_shell, we get:
hpi_shell> addcfg /tmp/new.config Command failed: addcfg /tmp/new.config
