What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. javascript error message on IE7, IE8 and firefox and chrome
2. unexpected token <

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the output don't have anychange but on browser apears a error

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
on joomla 1.5.21

Please provide any additional information below.
i don't understand javascript but search a lot for the solution and i didn't 
find anything
