We need to introduce automation for several simple yet critical tasks to improve the usability of our robot, particularly when used at RIT by the safety department; and we need to decide on an interface for doing these tasks. These tasks include restarting the frontend, backend, and the entire system, as well as managing connections to the school's WiFi network with credential handling.
For example, we might consider mapping certain actions, like WiFi connections and system restarts, to physical buttons on the Raspberry Pi. Mainly, I think we need to discuss the following:
How are tasks going to be started
What tasks do we need to automate
Which of those can we add to the configuration page instead
Documentation of the above will also be very important to provide with the car.
