can't write in cache - Githubissues

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.when i try to open the aplication it simply doesn't work

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
it should start the aplication a it says that the cache can not be writen and 
it says:

Google Earth no pudo grabar el caché actual o la ubicación del archivo Mis 
lugares. Los valores serán establecidos de la siguiente manera:
Ruta a Mis lugares: "/home/ichiby/.googleearth"
Ruta a la caché: "/home/ichiby/.googleearth/Cache"
it woulkd be: Google Earth couldn't write actual cache or My places location. 
Values will be stablished as follows:
Ruta a Mis lugares: "/home/ichiby/.googleearth"
Ruta a la caché: "/home/ichiby/.googleearth/Cache"

Which plugin version are you using?

Which browsers and operating systems are affected?
 google chrome; ubuntu 10.04

When i tried to install it the terminal sayd:
