Styles conceptually difficult #90

We've found it hard to work out how to translate modifications in the style sheet to the resulting output. Discussed solutions would be a simpler methodology (more transparent mapping of what changes what) or a library of examples that can be easily tweaked.

Thanks. Would be good to have a specific example of what you're trying to achieve and what you tried that didn't work. Knowing what you expected vs. what actually happened should help us figure out how to make it easier to understand.

e.g. Currently trying to edit the format of the row titles of a two-category table (population by establishment and gender, down the LHS). Changing title_1, title_2, etc. does not directly relate to what is displayed in the output. We're aware of using the 'lookup' to input which levels are which, but finding it conceptually difficult to use that, having to do trial and error. There are also some levels which come out as Arial font size 9 but this isn't used anywhere in the style sheet. Hopefully that makes sense... let me know if you need more detail.

Hopefully this does some way to making it a bit easier
