3 beta cannot be installed on JF US G1 phone

I download Market Enabler and wanna install it on my T-mobile G1 US with JF 
rooted flash 
by using the Package Installer, but it says the application cannot be installed 
on this phone.

You need to manually uninstall the non-beta market enabler first!

the beta apk uses a different certificate.
Uninstalling Version 2 and install V3beta should work.

Please confirm if that helped

I had a problem updating from Version 2 to Version 3 beta on Cyanogen mod 4.04
running on an ADP1.  The problem was fixed by manually uninstalling version 2 
first
(Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications).

Had the same Problem on my ADP1 running CM 4.1.2.1 and actually had beta 3 
installed
but beta 3.0.1 didn't want to install over it. Uninstalling first solved the 
issue :)

As I said in the comment for the 3.0.1 DL, I use a new certificate to sign the 
app.
@bluetraveler does it now work for you?
I will close this issue but if the solution doesnt work for you i will reopen 
but you
would need to give some more info on the problem
