I'm not sure, I don't really like this implementation. But I agree support would be useful.

Agree, this implementation feels hairy :) Any ideas on a cleaner way?

merged in beta branch and reimplemented as d0351763508b312eb327792d38c5d9c5ad9506b9 see how simple ;) and without hacks.
