I don't really know Lua so I just kinda copied things and it worked. Please check carefully that I did not make major mistakes.

Thx. Good idea. But I'm going to postpone this request for while. I feel like the codebase needs some refactoring beforehand.

I'm not convinced this is a good solution. Since you need to change the volume to make the widget active again. Which the visual inactivity marker would discourage. I would argue, this speaks a wrong visual language.
