As we've discussed on Slack, this code would benefit from further changes to display the error messages on the configuration screen. I'm also not sure I've tested this properly.

Hi @samarthgupta1011, I've made a change that might address the issue. I'd like to do more testing now. Do you know whether there's an easy way we can keep the current version of the CLEAN frontend running at clean.frontend.mmli1.ncsa.illinois.edu while deploying a different build--either the one you tried last night or a new one from my latest changes--to the cluster at a different URL?
