Ideally the primary key would be an underwater number, leaving the visible name open for change. #656

What version of EMX2 are you using (see footer) 8.15.1

Describe the issue I need to change the three-letter acronym for a Danish data bank (and leave the rest of the data intact) but can't do so without deleting the entire thing and starting again.

To Reproduce

  1. go to https://minerva.molgeniscloud.org/Minerva/catalogue/#/databanks
  2. Search on 'mbr'
  3. Click the pencil next to MBR
  4. Try to change the pid.

Expected behavior I would expect the primary key to be invisible and not linked to the acronym of the data bank.

For data managers it sucks to have meaningless primary keys because they cannot be easily remembered. Even worse are autogenerated keys. So this requires some serious discussion before we enable this.
