Orderconfirmation email does not display name #289

Expected behavior

The email to the backoffice new_order should display firstname lastname and email.

Actual behavior

fields remain empty, in the template the {firstname}{lastname} etc are correct and not changed; In the onder_conf email to client also the name is not displayed

Steps to reproduce the behavior

I have the same issue. Presta 1.7.6.5 Mollie 4.2 No multistore

No @Maz-Invertus I have not since its quite a bit of work updating. IT is not as easy as hitting the update button. I have to completely remove and reconfigure the module with every little update or I get 500 errors.. do I ususally wait a bit. Will try next week and give an update.

Hello everyone,

We've managed to resolve the issue, and included it in the 4.2.2 release, which we are planning to release next week (if nothing goes wrong), it will be uploaded here - https://github.com/mollie/Prestashop/releases

Be sure to follow the link where the latest version will be updated!

I will close this issue for now, if this will persist after the new release, just let me know!

Yes I did install it but it was the same result. Since you said it would be fixed next release I did not post it here!

We've just launched the 4.2.2 Mollie version, maybe you could try and install it, and provide any feedback regarding the new version?

As we did multiple checkouts and testing, no Order Confirmation display text issues on PS1771 PHP 7.2. seem to be found.

I have updated the module to 4.2.2. The customer names are now displayed, but not yet the list of purchased products #283.

Hello, Thank you for the update! The names and emailadres are good now. One thing that this update did not fix for me is applePay. I read that this is fixed for the 1.6 version, but it is also a problem in the 1.7.7 Prestashop. I have Apple Pay active in BO but it does not show up at front.

Maybe you could raise a separate issue regarding the Apple Pay method, describe the issue further, so we could investigate it more throughly?

I Installed the module update today. Test order seems okay, will update later if another problem should arise.

Names and all are good, no more issues besides the one which is new issue apple-pay

@Saimis777 for me this issue is resolved. Was also able to update the module in stead of completely deinstalling first so all is well on my side.
