Mollie module for Prestashop 1.4.8

Hi!

Our shop operates on Prestashop 1.4.8.0 and I cannot find the Mollie module for this version. All available modules here work on 1.5 and up.

I would be grateful for some help regarding this issue.

Hi @hubert34,

You have to use one of the older Mollie modules for PS 1.4.x

Go to https://github.com/mollie/PrestaShop/releases and try one of the old versions. Scroll down and select the "next" button to navigate through the previous releases.

You could try version 1.2.5 (https://github.com/mollie/PrestaShop/releases?after=v2.0.1) or older.

I also highly recommend to upgrade your webshop, because a lot of bugs and security issues have been fixed since 1.4.8.0.

Hi @snowycatsoftware

I was not sure if this versions are compatible with 1.4.8. I have though copied the module to the modules folder. After that whole module tree has disappeared in the back office. When I remove the mollie folder, the module tree comes back.

Also I am aware the 1.4.8 is really old but the upgrade is problematic from what I have read.

Hi @hubert34 ,

You have to try one of the older versions one by one, before 1.2.5. Or you could try to install the module via the Admin interface (on the module page). Select "upload module" and follow the installation process.

I almost forgot. If you want to upgrade from an old version to the latest PS 1.6 version for example, I do recommend to hire a developer for this job to be sure it's done right. You could ask @muyncky or @JoshuaLuckers if they have room for new clients.
