Feature description

Hello @valldrac can we Add AI ChatBot into Molly as Personal Assistant in Note To Self is there anyway to do this, if yes then please integrate AI in Molly like Snapchat

that's redundant and would require you to depend on a non foss service + this hampers your privacy, if the chatbot can see your personal notes why even use signal protocol. nonetheless if you really want that feature maybe contact signal as i think molly won't add anything too much unrelated to privacy as a fork

This isn't WhatsApp. I'm moving away precisely because this shit is being introduced by WA.

"AI" is not an entity, you want a closed source service like ChatGPT which provides LLM AI over network. Using protocol to communicate doesn't matter. The problematic thing is GPT itself.

Please close this issue.

Actually my idea was to create a Personal Assistant in Molly with Local LLM processing no data will be transmitted outside the device

Which phone can run an LLM properly? 💀🗿

Assistants suck, they are rarely helpful but due to corporate hype speak word salad sales pitch they have infested everywhere. They should be wiped out from every goddamn place a human should be. And they certainly should not be in an app meant for peer to peer communication.

If you want an LLM, make a separate app. It will be heavy though.

Google Pixels and only wirh Google Asstant for Bard. In a few years this may be doable but not today.
