Transmittion of existing data is not working; devices don't find each other (only with Molly) #230

Is there an existing issue for this?

Bug description

Devices can't find each other, tried the same with Molly to Signal and then they found each other.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Molly on one device
  2. Install Molly on another device
  3. Try to transmit your Signal data from one to the other device

Android version

Android 13, Android 8.1

Device

Samsung

I'm afraid Wifi Direct just isn't reliable. Users have reported that it works after trying a bunch of times.

There are no differences in the code between Molly and Signal for this feature.

The weird thing is that I never had this issue with Signal to Signal, but maybe was it just luck.
