Replace internal photo Gallery with "open system gallery"

I do not longer request to use that photo picker portal. it totally sucks and doesnt show random images. Please instead embed the "select image from system gallery" where the default gallery like Fossify Gallery can be used.

The photo picker portal allows to remove the need for any persistent storage access, highly improving security. Signal is completely broken as it doesnt use it, and you need to select photos as files or use the share dialog to bypass this.

Signal doesnt seem to care about implementing this.

I am not an Android dev but it shouldnt be hard to implement the portal and remove the internal gallery instead.

I remember seeing that the the Play Store will be forcing none gallery apps to use the photo picker instead so Signal will be forced to do this anyway

yay? But hopefully the "open systems used gallery" is possible, as after using it a bit, the android image picker portal totally sucks (it shows only a random subset of the available images)
