[Bug Report] Molly (non-foss) doesn't register itself for push notifcations within MicroG #346

Is there an existing issue for this?

Bug description

Molly (non-foss) doesn't seem to detect or register itself for push notifications in MicroG. It states that the device does not support Google Play Services and that battery optimization needs to be disabled. I waited for a while to see if it would register itself after some time had passed, but it did not.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install and setup MicroG
  2. Install Molly (non-foss) and set it up

Please include the debug log or send it to support@molly.im. You can locate it under the app's Settings > Help > Debug log section.
