3D Butterfly diagram for ground reaction forces #26

Add the posbility to have a 3D representation like "3D Buterfly diagram" as
proposed in "Vector (butterfly) diagrams for osteoarthritic gait a preliminary
report", Soussan Khodadadeh, Journal of Medical Engineering & Technology,
Volume 12, Number 1, January/February 1988, pages 15-19.

Based on the given reference, we can easily create the 3D diagram for the
single (one leg) support (see joined pictures). Because some users have more
than two force plates, it seems difficult to implement the double support case.
Moreover from the picture joined in the comment #12 (issue 25 -
http://code.google.com/p/b-tk/issues/detail?id=25#c12), the most important
seems the single support

The proposed implementation gives you an interactive representation during the
time. Playing with the time bar, you can see the "history" of the ground
reaction forces.
By default the 3D buttefly diagram is not activated. It can be activated using
the preferences of Mokka (to be activated by default) or using the contextual
menu (right click) of the 3D views (to be activated temporarily, only for this
session of Mokka).

Hi Aranud,

1.-How can I experiment the 3D Butterfly diagram and the COP trajectory as in
issue 27 ?
2.- do you think the automat identification of gait phases as them are
presented in literature [and in issue 25] is feasible with Mokka ?

Many thanks !
Daniel

Hi Arnaud, You have done a great job from my point of view ! I want to
practice a little to see all the opportunities generated by this tool developed
by you !
I would like to ask you to think at one more option for visualising the data
from the graph : in the actual form as X axis we have "Frames" which doesn't
have a clear significance for the user, especially when on the data from force
platform as X axis we have "Time" . Could you introduce as an option the "Time"
as X axis ? This could be expressed as :
1. time - in seconds, or
2. time in % from Stance time period. I'm thinking that the option of having
time expressed as % from Stance time period could be more useful when we we'll
correlate with special gait events like "heel contact", "midstance","terminal
stance" or "toe off" !
What do you think ?
Thank you again for your job !
Sincerely,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

1- It could be possible to display the time for the X axis instead of
the frames in Mokka 0.5. I will try in the next days.

2- I have already users who would like to display data represented by
gait cycle. It is already in my todo list, but won't be implemented in
Mokka 0.5 as it requires several modifications in the way to display
data in the chart.
This feature is scheduled for Mokka 0.6, as well as the gait events detection.

Hi Daniel,

The revision r1004 implements the display of the time in the charts.
