Gather our Forces on New Frontiers

Let's get to 1k followers on Instagram! Before the next release is deployed, we should reach the four digit milestone, so we can spread the word faster on this platform as well. For this we need more structure and scheduling.

🌟 Specification, Scope, and Features

We should be posting more often. To have all of this content, we need to work on some things from the past and use them again as well as producing new things, that are either trending or have time sensitive topics.

⚔️ Motivation

After this summer of trying some things, (without having a replacement for Creative Director), we had ups and downs on Instagram. I see an opportunity to turn up our numbers by setting ourselves a goal of making a post at least every other day and having a "story" post daily. This way we can get more traction on our instagram and spike our numbers up.

• No structured scheduling (we post when sthing's either ready or it's part of a bigger deadline, no posts that are supposed to be frequent)
• Low number of views and likes (if we upload good quality content, but only once a week, that single post is going to sink quickly in the sea of social media, instead we need more content to keep ourselves afloat and always appear on IG user's feeds)
• Close to 1k followers (the follower count was stalling before august, now it seems to be slowly moving up, but we can reach our goal faster)

• We should be posting at least every other day
• Have a story post daily
• Post More Reels (the TikTok of Insta)
• Use old content (podcast appearances, interviews, 101s)
• Use only clips or highlights (this way we can use a single video for multiple posts, making our work more effective
• For 101s, technical posts and such we could do a short and an extended version, this way again, making our work more effective
• Get used to the new schedule and STAY CONSISTENT!

• ANYONE can suggest podcasts/highlights/blogs to use as a source for our posts

📈 Subtasks

• Plan the upload schedule, specify recurring content types (ie.: Monday - podcast clip, Tuesday - story highlight, Wednesday - 101, etc...) - Trellz, Axi, Dani
• Create templates for recurring content (Axi has already made some of these, so off to a good start) - Axi, Dani, Áron
• Collect material to work from (full podcast episodes, old 101s, anything Wasabi/Privacy related) - ANYONE can suggest highlights, clips, blogs, basically anything that we can use as a source for a post.
• Prepare ahead from collected materials, so we already have 1-2 week(s) content ready, at the time of starting the new schedule. This way, we'll have some content to lean on, in case we have any sort of trouble and we can't manage to create a post that's supposed to be uploaded that day - Axi, Dani, Áron
• Specify the date of starting the new schedule (at this point we should have at least 2 weeks of backup content and 1 week plan ahead of what we'll be uploading) - Trellz, Axi, Dani

START THE NEW ERA OF OUR INSTAGRAM

PS (for those who'd like to suggest post ideas): The goal is, to create quality content, but in bigger quantity. This means we need simple ideas, that can be created quickly. Templates and recurring content categories help us with that, but original ideas can be added to our schedule too, it just shouldn't be overcomplicated (we can do bigger things when we have more viewers and followers. Until then, we should focus on consistency, simplicity and quality)

100% agree. Dani is just continued my mindset about what I have started in the slack channel. The cross platform sharing would be nice to continue. Effective with less work.

• I just started today redoing the 101's (which seemed the same each time back then) so we could differentiate those more in the new ones.
• The planning ahead works as we have enough videos, but more source would be needed for the educational contents (101 and Research content is needed)
• For more consistency I have done a bunch of templates to place videos and educational contents
