allows writing out prometheus metrics ready to be scraped by the textfile collector (part of node exporter)

I noticed, that prometheus can't handle such metrics very well, it's especially a waste of storage, as node_exporter won't handle timestamps and therefore update everything which each pull. Feel free to close this PR.

I understand from your comment that you are not a user of this yourself and do not intend to help out maintain this exporter. Let's close it for now then and maybe revive it later then if it can be improved or is of use to anyone else.
