python.exe has stopped working (VTK) #176

Hi!

I've installed the Recommended version of pythonxy with a few additional 
plugins, like ITK and OpenCV. I'm using Windows 7.

I was trying to run some VTK code lines, and everything goes well until I try 
to render a 3D volume. 

I get an error message saying: "python.exe has stopped working". 

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
