8. When you installed Python(x,y), were you logged in as :
b. an administrator of the machine
10. Regarding installed softwares on your machine, how did you clean your
machine before installing Python(x,y) (multiple answers are possible):
b. you uninstalled any previous Python distribution (including the
official .msi)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. None, Python(x,y) will not install correctly without Python 2.6.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that Python 2.6. will be installed with the Python(x,y)installation,
but instead I get "Python 2.6 not installed on this computer" for almost every
XY component. And when this error message does come up, the offending
component does not get installed properly.
