Needs other mirrors #249

The Greek mirror took me over an hour before failing with a checksum mismatch.
We need other mirrors in the US, UK, AU, and possibly JP. That should provide
sufficient coverage. Also, I looked at old discussions and was surprised to
learn that the choice of mirror was prompted by a request from a Cuban
national. The mathematical tools in Pythonxy could be used to make
cryptographic software. Given the stringent US laws about crypto exports to
countries like Cuba, I would be inclined to consult a lawyer before bowing to
the requests of such countries, given that they may in fact be agents of the
government or military rather than civilians.

Hi,

Donations of space and BW for hosting ~1 gigabyte of data are most welcome!.

The mirror location is based on availability and accessibility, nothing more.

I will happily throw it up on my google docs if I can get it downloaded this
century :)

Really, .2 KB/sec download is unacceptable...

Maybe you could look into hosting it at github. It's free for open-source
projects although I'm not sure if application distributions (such as
Python(x,y)) fall under their definition of an open-source project (you can
always ask: support@github.com)...

Aha! Just noticed that my download jumped up to ~500KB/sec. Guess I was caught
in one of the greek protests for a half-hour or so...
