The current JSON viewer I use for Notepad++ has a "status bar" in the docking panel that displays the current JSON path. There is also a context menu when right-clicking on an item in tree view that lets you copy the path.
That would be a nice feature upgrade!
I'm intrigued by your JSON-Tools project - lots of functionality. And by the name of this plugin, and your to-do's, my guess is that you're planning on bringing that functionality to this plugin. That would definitely convert me from my current JSON viewer to yours. I'm just hoping to get the base feature parity; hence, the issues I've been opening ...
