5 Row keyboard will not show up.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.3GS running 3.0
2.Emoji app, possible other app interference
3.additional keyboard icon appears, but no 5 row QWERTY

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system
(iPhone/iPod Touch? Firmware version?)?

Please provide any additional information below.
