@baretta881 @mario-campos This release branch of mine was still a WIP outside of the update to actions/checkout@v2. If you look at the most recent release workflow, you'll see that it fails with exit code 1 as by design since the script being called is a TODO script and does not build the binaries as expected.

@katiem0, oh I see. Thanks for the clarification. I thought it seemed like a simple and innocuous change to just bump checkout to v3, but I suppose let's not break things here.
